Snow Photos

I will write more later, once the kids are asleep, but for now here are photos from our current blizzard. And yes, it is an actual blizzard this time, not just DC hype. :-)

The farthest photo down is the family room window downstairs. We usually have a lake view out of this window. Not today.

The one at the top shows our snow shovel deep in the snow in our front yard. At least our street was plowed this morning. After passing our house a bulldozer and two large dump truck plows got stuck in front of our next door neighbor's house.

As a result of all of this, we have ice damming and our front window is leaking, a lot. Thus, Andy spent over an hour on the roof last night shoveling snow to try to help alleviate this. The ladder remains in our kitchen so that we can get to it more easily to continue to get back on the roof once the storm has passed and the wind has died down.

Oh, and Julia lost her two front top teeth!
Going to make cookies now with the kiddos. :-)
